It is summer. The sun is hot.A grasshopper sits and sings all day.An ant walks by. She carries a big seed.“Why do you work?” asks the grasshopper. “Come and play!”“I am getting food for winter,” says the ant.
إنه الصيف. الشمس حارة. يجلس جندب ويغني طوال اليوم. تمر نملة. تحمل بذرة كبيرة. سأل الجندب: «لماذا تعملين؟ تعالي والعبي!» قالت النملة: «أجمع الطعام للشتاء».

يأتي الشتاء. الجو بارد وهناك ثلج. ليس عند الجندب طعام. هو جائع ويشعر بالبرد. يذهب إلى بيت النملة.
